LEGAL OFFICER
General Job Description
1. Traditional legal work
- Updating new legal regulations: Searching for newly promulgated legal instruments related to activities of the company (such as laws on medical examination and treatment, labour laws, enterprise laws, foreign investment laws, tax laws, banking laws etc) and updating on any new regulations to the relevant Executives and/or managers.
- Contracts: Review all contracts between the company and third parties upon request of the relevant Executives to ensure that all legal provisions in the contracts are appropriate for the best interest of the company.
- Employment: Assist HR with any employment legal issues
- Corporate licensing: Drafting, submitting application documents to authorities regarding the company’s ERC, IRC, MC …
- Internal legal advice: Searching re legal issues of all internal departments and suggesting the advice to the Legal Director before advising the relevant department.
- Official correspondences: Drafting or reviewing correspondences/documents from the company to authorities/third parties and ensure that the contents of these documents are consistent with relevant laws, for the Legal Director’s review
2. Complaint management
- Supporting the Customer Services Dept in dealing with complaints
Requirement
1. Qualification:
- Law university graduation or higher level of graduation
- Having lawyer practicing certificate (Must)
2. Experience:
- At least 5 year experience working law firm(s)
3. Skills and knowledge:
- Strong knowledge related to as laws on medical examination and treatment, labour laws, enterprise laws, foreign investment laws, tax laws, banking laws, civil codes
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to balance priorities
- Have good team work skill
4. Foreign language(s):
- Native Vietnamese
- Fluent writing and speaking English
- Writing and specking French is an advantage
