Live – Healthcare Facility Management Symposium

Following the success of previous years, FV Hospital will continue to organise a special symposium on “Healthcare Facility Management” to share knowledge on hospital infrastructure management and provide updates about new technologies in the healthcare field.

The symposium brings together many technical experts and managers in the healthcare sector to discuss advancements, challenges, and share practical experiences around the topic of Healthcare Facility Management. The programme includes speeches, presentations, and discussions on various aspects on topics that including subjects on sustainable development, innovation, and patient safety.

The symposium is organised for special guests and will be broadcast online via Zoom. You can join for free through the LINK or by scanning the QR code.

SPEAKER PROFILES

Mr. Monojit Mitra

Facility and Biomedical Director, FV Hospital, Vietnam

Mr Monojit Mitra joined FV Hospital in 2010 and is working with his team since then to ensure safety and security of equipment, infrastructure and occupants of the building always. As the Facility and Biomedical Director, he builds an environment and develop systems and processes for his team to excel and deliver consistently.

He has been working in the healthcare industry for over three decades in Asia and Africa. He has been a consultant to multiple state health departments of Govt. of India and worked in implementing multiple PPP projects and setting up medical and nursing colleges in India. He worked with the Apollo Group at Bangladesh and Mauritius and towards development and consolidation of the ancillary services to support the clinicians and patients. He has a rich experience of working with major medical equipment manufacturer in marketing and after-market support across the Indian subcontinent.

An electronics engineer with post-graduation on hospital management, he has completed certification on Six Sigma Green Belt, Cybersecurity, ISO 31000, 45001 and 50001. He has a passion for teaching and shares knowledge periodically with budding biomedical engineers of Ho Chi Minh City


Mr. Ng Mor Jack

Chief Operating Officer – TMG Singapore

Mr Ng Mor Jack is the Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Thomson Medical, Singapore. He joined Thomson Medical in May 2023 and is responsible for managing the hospital operations including Facilities, Business Office, Medical Affairs, Quality Management, Customer Experience and Medical Records Office. He also helps to oversee the outpatient clinics, ambulatory surgical centres as well as fertility centre.

Mr Ng has more than 14 years of healthcare experience in administrations and operations. Prior to joining Thomson Medical, Mr Ng was the Group General Manager of Singapore Women’s & Children’s Medical Group (SWCMG). During his tenure in SWCMG, he led the SWCMG restructuring exercise in 2020 and also helped to run a sale process which subsequently attracted majority stake investment from a private equity fund. From 2010 to 2019, Mr Ng worked at KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital (KKH) which is the largest maternity hospital in Singapore delivering more than 12,000 birth annually. He was responsible for matters from strategic planning, operations and administrations in Obstetrics and Gynaecology division.

Mr Ng holds a Bachelor of Science majoring in Genetics from The University of Melbourne, Australia. He was also the award recipient of the inaugural SingHealth & Duke-NUS Academic Administrator Fellowship Award in 2016.


Mr. Dhanraj Chandriani

Managing Director – Technecon Healthcare, India

Mr. Dhanraj Chandriani, is the Founder and Managing Director of Technecon Healthcare Pvt. Ltd., a hospital and healthcare consultancy company established in 1998. He has four decades of experience in the healthcare sector.

Amongst other projects, Mr. Chandriani has advised World Bank aided projects as also Dept. of Health Philippines, on Public Private Partnerships in healthcare; Dept. for International Development (British Govt.) for upgradation of Govt. Hospitals in the State of Bihar, India. To date, he has been associated with nearly 110 healthcare projects within and outside of India.

His consulting services range from project feasibility reports, medical planning and design for hospitals, total medical device planning and procurement advisory, HR related services, SOPs and hospital policies based on accreditation standards (NABH), etc. He also conducts performance and process audits of hospitals advising them on improving standards and outcomes. Mr. Chandriani has also been a visiting faculty in some of the premier biomedical engineering and healthcare management schools in India.

He has a Masters in Physics and Mathematics, specialization in Biomedical Engineering/medical devices, MBA (Admin. Management); PGDM in Hospital Administration; Certified NABH Internal Assessor. Mr. Chandriani also headed the Manipal Education and Medical Group (MEMG) as Director-Healthcare. MEMG is one of India’s largest healthcare group.


Mr. Sebastian Schade

Healthcare Consulting – Siemens Healthineers, Singapore

Sebastian Schade hold a Bachelor and MBA in business and finance from University of Essen (Germany) and Hawaiian Pacific university (USA). Sebastian is a management consultant with over 15 years global consulting experience. He started his consulting career with Detecon Asia Pacific focusing on due diligence and M&A projects across all countries in Southeast Asia.

Following his consulting and project manager roles he took over Asia’s leading behavioral health clinic DARA in Thailand as CFO and later CEO to perform a strategic and financial turnaround of the facility with the goal to list it on the stock market. After successfully selling the company he worked for AMI Healthcare in Thailand developing medical concepts mainly around day surgery centers and primary care.

Since 2020 Sebastian is the Asia Pacific lead for Siemens Healthineers Value Creation Consulting practice. In this function he mainly works on developing greenfield healthcare projects together with hospital groups, private equity investors and family offices. Together with Siemens Healthineers internal experts and external architectural partners he works on developing healthcare facilities from concept ideation through to operational opening of the facility.

In his 15 years of professional career he has successfully delivered healthcare projects across all of Southeast Asia and is currently engaged in a CoE development in Thailand and the extension of the leading private hospital in Manila


Mr. Eric Woo Kit Seong

Vice President, Asia Pacific Regional Office, ECRI

Eric Woo is the Vice President for ECRI Asia Pacific and is responsible for the business development activities, research initiatives, project execution, and operational management in the APAC region. Prior to joining ECRI in 2015, he was the Chief Operating Officer of a private hospital specialising in sports injuries and stem cell technology.

Over his 26 years career in the healthcare industry, Eric has been involved in various businesses for medical technology organisations in Asia Pacific, managing a private hospital, and research involvement in Stem Cells therapy for regenerative medicine. His healthcare management knowledge and experience has contributed to notable successes in his career such as improvement in operational workflow in hospitals, the introduction of new technology in the Asian healthcare market, improved methodology for technology adoption utilising evidence-based approach, to name a few.

In recent years, Eric has provided consultation, training and presentations related to Healthcare Technology Management (HTM), policy and implementation solutions to various groups such as healthcare authorities and regulators, hospitals, associations, and conferences in Asia Pacific. He is a strong advocate of managing patient safety risk through the management of people, processes, and technology in the healthcare setting.
