Becoming a great mother involves not only caring for the new-born but also dedicating time and attention to oneself. Therefore, Dr James Mok and the team of experts at Picasso Plastic Surgery, part of Thomson Medical Group, are organising a medical training programme titled “Female Rejuvenation Post Pregnancy”
The training programme will to provide in-depth knowledge and the latest updates on methods for rejuvenating women after childbirth. DR JAMES MOK
Dr James Mok is a Ministry of Health accredited plastic surgeon and medical director of Picasso Plastic Surgery. He is a highly respected plastic surgeon known for his expertise, compassion, empathy and trustworthiness. As an experienced and sought-after surgeon, he delivers exceptional results while prioritising patient comfort and satisfaction. His genuine concern for patients’ well-being fosters confidence, making him a trusted choice for aesthetic enhancement and reconstructive procedures.
Dr Mok employs the latest technology and surgical innovation, integrating science and artistry to deliver advanced and precise results for his patients. Dr Mok graduated with his basic medical degree from Queen Mary University of London in 2007. He completed his Basic Specialty Training in 2011 and Plastic Surgery Residency in 2018. He received the Outstanding Resident Award and Outstanding Resident Representative Award for contributions made throughout his training.
In 2015, he was the sole doctor awarded the prestigious Singapore-Stanford Bio-design Fellowship, which trains the next generation of health technology innovators in Asia.
Dr Mok’s performance and achievements in Plastic Surgery led him to be awarded the National Outstanding Clinician Scientist Award in 2018 and the Covid Resilience Medal, Republic of Singapore, in 2023.
Dr Mok holds a clinical assistant professorship with the National University of Singapore and is a clinician mentor with Singapore University of Technology and Design. He has multiple publications and patented inventions for wound and burn healing, blood flow stimulation and minimal scar outcomes. He is an editorial board reviewer for Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, the preeminent medical journal for plastic surgeons.
Dr Mok serves on the elected board of Singapore Association of Plastic Surgeons, Singapore Association of Cosmetic Aesthetic Surgeons, and Cleft Lip and Palate Association Singapore. Additionally, Dr Mok is the Singapore National Delegate for the Asian Federation of Plastic Reconstructive Aesthetic Society which showcase Plastic Surgery in Asia.
