The event unfolded in a friendly yet competitive environment, with athletes giving their all on the pitch, supported enthusiastically by FV “team members.”
The tournament took place in a friendly atmosphere but was no less competitive
FV has supported touch rugby clubs in Saigon for nearly 10 years, to assist sports-loving communities and raise awareness about health improvement. FV’s commitment to support is designed to provide the club with additional resources for organising tournaments, ensuring timely medical care and safety for athletes, while also promoting this unique sport to the Vietnamese public.
FV will continue to support many sporting events of Saigon Rugby Club
FV Hospital hopes to continue supporting similar significant events that contribute to the development of a dynamic community that loves sports and prioritises health, alongside enhancing the professional image of healthcare in Vietnam.
Touch rugby is a variant of traditional rugby, featuring lighter rules and less physical contact. Instead of tackling opponents to the ground to stop the ball, players merely need to touch their opponent (usually on the shoulder, arm, or back) to prevent their progress and end the attacking play. Due to its safety and gentle nature, touch rugby is increasingly popular, especially at community sporting events, promoting a healthy lifestyle and providing opportunities for people to connect through sport.
