White house praises FV for its support to U.S. President Obama

The White House Medical Unit has regconised the outstanding achievements by FV Hospital (Far East Medical Vietnam Limited), FV Hospital’s CEO Dr Jean-Marcel Guillon and Dr Trinh Van Hai, Head of Accident and Emergency Department, in support of the White House Medical Unit and U.S. President Barack Obama.

FV Hospital was entrusted to serve as the backup hospital for President Obama during his two-day visit to Ho Chi Minh City on the 24th and 25th of May, 2016.

To be appointed as the backup hospital for President Obama and his entourage, one of the prerequisites was that FV Hospital has obtained the international healthcare certificate JCI. Upon being named in the shortlist proposed to the White House by the U.S. Consulate General in Ho Chi Minh City, FV Hospital had been visited and assessed comprehensively by two medical specialists from the White House Medical Unit before they made the decision. They turned out to be very impressed by the professionalism of FV Hospital in District 7.
