Treatment for retinal conditions with eye specialists from Singapore at FV hospital

In two days, January 7th and 8th, 2016, Dr. Doric Wong, Head and Senior Consultant and Dr. Gavin Tan, Consultant of Vitreo-Retinal Department, Singapore National Eye Centre (SNEC) will work with doctors at FVH Ophthalmology and Refractive Surgery to provide consultations and treatments to children and adult patients affected with retinal conditions.

This is a good opportunity for patients affected with myopic macular schisis, retinal detachment resulted from complication of diabetics, macular disorder, choroidal neovascular disease and retinal disease in children, especially, immature born children.

Retinal conditions initially do not have visible symptoms, so special techniques are needed to detect any unusual retinal problems. Early detection will be helpful to timely prevent and treat any dangerous complications, avoid vision damages and even vision loss.
