JCI ACCREDITATION
FV Hospital was accredited by the Joint Commission International (JCI) on March 5th, 2016. This accreditation rewarded FV Hospital’s achievements and commitment to excellence.
JCI is an independent not-for-profit organisation based in Chicago, considered as the premier credential for healthcare facilities. Accredited hospitals receive the prestigious Gold Seal of Approval acknowledging their commitment to safety and quality of patient care, improvement of patient outcomes, and high level of organisation management.
During the on-site evaluation, a team of expert JCI physicians, nurses, and health care administrators visits the organisation and evaluates more than a thousand measurable elements. Through interviews with staff, patients, and leadership, along with physical inspections and reviews of records, the survey touches every part of the organisation and provides a complete evaluation of the effectiveness of the organisation’s patient safety and quality system in the following key areas:
