OVERVIEW
FV Hospital was founded by Dr Jean-Marcel Guillon in 2003 with a group of French doctors who shared the vision of bringing world class healthcare into Vietnam. Located in the centre of District 7 of Ho Chi Minh City, FV has evolved into a full-service, one stop provider of quality care for the local population in and around Ho Chi Minh City.
As the first JCI accredited hospital in South Vietnam, FV Hospital is known for its international standard of care, commitment to clinical quality and patient-centric service.
With over 1,500 service staff, including 230 Vietnamese and expatriate doctors, FV provides care across more than 30 medical and surgical specialties at its 220-bed hub hospital. It also operates an outpatient clinic, the FV Saigon Clinic, at the heart of District 1, Ho Chi Minh City’s traditional business district.
In 2022 FV has acquired ACC, the leading Chiropractic centre in Vietnam, with 2 clinics in Ho Chi Minh City and one in Hanoi.
OWNERSHIP
In January 2024, FV Hospital became a member of Thomson Medical Group (TMG).
Listed on the Singapore Stock Exchange, Thomson Medical Group is one of the leading listed healthcare players in the South-East Asian region with operations in Singapore, Malaysia, and Vietnam
Established in 1979, Thomson Medical Pte Ltd is one of the largest private providers of healthcare services for women and children in Singapore. It owns and operates the iconic Thomson Medical Centre and a network of close to 40 specialist medical clinics and facilities providing outpatient women and children healthcare services.
In Malaysia, TMG owns TMC Life Sciences Berhad, a multi-disciplinary healthcare company listed on Bursa Malay, which operates Thomson Hospital Kota Damansara, a tertiary hospital located in Kota Damansara, and the award-winning TMC Fertility Centre which is the industry leader in assisted reproduction in Malaysia.
