Training Programme Structure
Practicing in medical examination and treatment
1. Practicing 4 weeks in Emergency & Intensive Care Unit
- Combining training in legal aspects of medical examination and treatment, professional ethics, and professional conduct.
- Evaluation of medical examination and treatment skills upon completion of emergency intensive care practice.
2. Practicing 20 weeks in medical examination and treatment in clinical departments
- Practice in clinical departments such as Outpatient Departments, Cardiology, General Internal Medicine, and General Surgery.
- Skill assessment upon completion of each department’s practice Graduation examination (both theoretical and practical) integrated into the total duration of medical examination and treatment practice.
3. Graduation Examination
- An integrated theoretical and practical examination is conducted as part of the overall training program.

- Management and care of patients with respiratory and cardiac arrest;
- Code blue procedure
- Handling adverse reactions
- Assessing and providing initial emergency treatment for trauma patients
- Care for poisoned patients.
- General treatment of poisoning.
- Care of deceased patients
- Assessment and classification of patient screening.
- Collecting specimens for testing
- Care for patients with eye disorders
- Care for patients with ear, nose, and throat disorders
- Respiratory support techniques and airway management
- Respiratory support techniques
- Safe use of medication
- Safe blood transfusion
- Ventilated patient care
- Patient Counselling and health education skills
- Techniques of wound care and drainage tube
