Concerns, Complaints and Compliments – Your Views Matter

FV Hospital aims provide the highest quality care and services for our patients.

We would like to know when things go well and also help you when you have any concerns about your treatment, wants to make a compliment or a complaint. This leaflet tells you about the different ways you can contact us.

If you have a concern about your care or the care of your relative, you should first discuss it with your doctor. If you feel that the issue requires further discussion please contact the Guest Relations Office who will arrange the right person to help with difficult problems or situations.

If you have a complaint with any aspect of our services you can speak to any member of staff. They often are able to resolve your concern immediately. You may also contact the Customer Service Office for assistance.

If you wish to make a compliment, contact the Guest Relations Office. If you are hospitalised your Guest Relations Officer will be happy to bring the Testimonial Book to your room.

Your feedback is important to us, through patient satisfaction surveys we receive information that helps us identify where we are doing well and highlights where we have opportunities to improve. You may be asked to complete this survey by email or, while hospitalised, you will be visited by your Guest Relations Officer. Rest assured that your responses will be kept confidential.

Any complaint will be acknowledged within 2 working days. A full response will be provided within 10 working days. Should we expect any delay you will be informed in advance.

If you feel your concerns have not been resolved satisfactory, you can contact the hotline of the Healthcare authority at 1900 9095 for further assistance.
