FV Hospital’s Accident and Emergency (A&E) Department, located in the right side of the hospital on the ground floor of the F Building, is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and benefits from its own separate entrance. If you need help, our team of emergency specialists and specially trained nurses are just a phone call away. They are fully supported by the entire hospital to treat medical and surgical conditions for both adults and children.
The procedure in our A&E Department is based on five principles:
- Patients will be assessed immediately in the triage area
- The most serious patients are seen to first
- Pain must be managed without delay according to its severity score
- A patient will not have to wait more than 1 hour to be seen
- A patient may stay in our A&E Department for a maximum of 4 hours – then they’ll either be discharged, or hospitalised for further treatment
If you have a medical emergency – an accident, a serious acute illness, an injury – call FV Hospital’s A&E Department on +(84) 28 54 11 35 00 for an ambulance, or go immediately to our A&E Department.
