Dr Philippe Maxant obtained his Medical Doctor degree from Nancy 1 University, France, in 1981. He then pursued higher education in Stomatology at Nancy 1 University the following year. Upon completing his residency training under the direct supervision of several lauded professors at the Centre Hospitalier Régional de Nancy (CHRN), Dr Philippe Maxant earned his board certification in Aesthetics and Reconstructive Surgery from the French National Board of Physicians in 1985.
Dr Philippe Maxant has 30 years’ experience working within the field of plastic surgery and was the former Head of Surgery at Clinique Ambroise Paré, Nancy, France, since 1990. During this period, he was often invited by FV Hospital to visit Vietnam to provide specialist plastic surgeries. Dr Maxant has also worked at hospitals in Bordeaux, France, and Shanghai, China, in the field of plastic and reconstruction surgery.
In his new position as Head of the Plastic Surgery & Cosmetics Department, Dr Philippe Maxant will introduce many new plastic surgery techniques to FV Hospital in addition to the services currently provided. In the coming time, he will focus on developing more advanced plastic surgery techniques utilising minimally invasive procedures at FV Hospital.
