Senior Consultant Tran Quang Vinh, MD, PhD, graduated from the Neurosurgery Department of the University of Medicine, Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, in 1984. Dr Quang Vinh earned a Master’s in Neurosurgery in 2000, a PhD in 2007 and the title of Associate Professor in Neurosurgery in 2016, all from the same institution.
Dr Quang Vinh holds prestigious fellowships in neurosurgery, microsurgery, neuro-endoscopy and neurosurgical critical care from the US, India and China.
Dr Vinh has more than 30 years of experience in neurosurgery, including treating brain tumours, neuralgia and hemi-facial spasm, head injury, spine and spinal cord tumours, disc herniation, spondylolisthesis and neurosurgical critical care.
Dr Quang Vinh worked as the Head of the Neurosurgical ICU Department at Cho Ray Hospital from 2003 until joining FV as Senior Consultant of the Neurosurgery & Spine Surgery Department in 2013.
He was appointed Head of the Neurosurgery & Spine Surgery Department, FV Hospital, in 2017.
