Dr Phat graduated from University of Rheinische Friedrichs-Wilhelms, Bonn, Germany in 1988. He then obtained his PhD in Orthopaedics from the same university in 1993. Dr Phat went on to complete an advanced course in acupuncture at the University of Witten-Herdecke, Witten, Germany, in 1995 and achieved a Specialisation Degree in Sports Medicine at Franziskus Hospital, Linz, Germany in 2003. He has accumulated over 28 years of experience in orthopaedics and taken a number of different roles at well-respected hospitals in Germany. One of his most notable roles was 10 years as Deputy Head of Surgery & Orthopaedics Surgery, in Franziskus Hospital, Linz, Germany. Due to his impressive professional knowledge and skills, Dr. Phat was offered the role of Head of Orthopaedics in FV Hospital in 2010. After filling this position, Dr Phat and his team have extensively developed FVH’s Orthopaedics Department, as well as introduced many advance treatment methods and techniques at FV Hospital. Dr Phat is one of the most experienced doctors at FV Hospital in terms of treating trauma and injuries associated with work accidents, traffic accidents or sport events. He is also an expert in offering surgical treatments for musculoskeletal conditions and injuries such as arthroscopy, joint replacement, cartilage and bone transplantation, ligament reconstruction and microsurgery to reconnect amputated legs or arms.
