Majoring in Ophthalmology, Dr Bui Thi Thanh Huong graduated from the University of Medicine and Pharmacy in Ho Chi Minh City in 1987. She then went into further study, obtaining a Specialization Degree Level I in 1998 and Specialization Degree Level II in 2003, both in Ophthalmology. Since then, Dr Thanh Huong has also participated in many advanced training courses in the field of Ophthalmology. From 1987 to 2017, Dr Thanh Hương acquired over 30 years of experience working at the HCM Eye Hospital, filling roles in the cornea, examination and treatment department as well as the Deputy Head of Trauma. Dr Thanh Hương is renowned in her field with particular expertise in treating glaucoma, corneal conjunctivitis and tumours, as well as in administering Phaco surgery, and eyelid, cross-section, shaping surgery, among others. Working in the Ophthalmology and Refractive Surgery Department at FV Hospital, Dr Thanh Hương is a leading member of the department, known for her open-minded approach, dedication and her ability to instil trust in patients when they are being treated. From 2018 until now, Dr Thanh Huong has treated more than 3000 cases with a variety of diseases, such as cataracts, glaucoma, eye tumours, eyelid shaping, etc. Dr Thanh Hương is dedicated to restoring patients’ eyesight.
