On 8 November 2025 at Sport Plus Stadium (Tan Phu District, HCMC), the FV Men’s Football Team and FV Cheerleading Squad took part in the inaugural 1st Open Men’s Football Tournament of Ho Chi Minh City Healthcare Sector – Emulation Group 12 (2025), a sports event that brought together 16 teams from hospitals and healthcare institutions across the city. Throughout the competition, the FV Men’s Football Team showcased remarkable consistency, confidence, and composure. The team’s unity, discipline, and structured style reflected the core values FV has upheld in the field of medicine for many years. The FV Men’s Football Team demonstrated a well-organised style of play and unwavering determination to win in every match. After advancing from the group stage, FV secured a decisive 2–0 win over City International Hospital in the quarterfinals. In a thrilling semifinal against Gia An 115 Hospital, FV held firm and won the penalty shootout 4–2 after a 1–1 draw in regular time. Each match highlighted the team’s solidarity, perseverance, and respect for fair play. In every match, the FV Men’s Football Team stood out as a united, resilient, and highly professional side. Entering the final against the Department of Health United Team, FV gave their all against the tournament’s top contender. The match ended dramatically with a 1–1 draw in regular time. Showing strategic gameplay, strong determination, and professionalism, the FV Men’s Football Team outperformed several strong opponents to claim the runner-up title. Although they narrowly lost the penalty shootout 3–4, the result reflects their sustained effort and high performance, and was met with praise from fellow teams. Lighting up the field alongside the players was the energetic FV Cheerleading Squad, whose members spent weeks practising daily to refine each movement, formation, and message. Their presence on the sidelines energised the stadium and became a powerful source of encouragement for the players. Every smile and step reinforced the message: “FV: Fit to pursue our passion.” Alongside the football team, the FV Cheerleading Squad also made a strong impression with energetic and vibrant performances. Investing in sports and wellness activities is one way FV Hospital promotes physical health, mental well-being, and a positive working environment for healthcare staff. This aligns with FV’s commitment to holistic care. “The pressure of our profession is constant.
