Dr. Nguyen Thi Mai graduated from Medical University of Ho Chi Minh City (HCMC) in 1992 and then went on to complete level 1 of the Specialisation Degree in Ophthalmology in 1999 and level 2 in 2013. She has taken various advanced training courses and programmes, including those in microsurgery at Medical University of HCMC in 2011; advanced Lasik surgeries at Singapore National Eye Centre (SNEC) in 2011; plastic surgery at Medical University of HCMC and cataract surgery at Ophthalmology Hospital of HCMC in 2012. Dr. Mai has accumulated over 15 years of experience in treating eye conditions. She has offered successful treatments to over 25,000 cases of refractive surgery and over 3,000 cases of cataract surgery as well as many eye and eyelid plastic surgeries. Dr. Mai has been conducting research and has a lot of experience in surgically treating presbyopia and treatments for refractive errors using Ortho-K contact lenses. With her seasoned professional competence and experience, Dr. Nguyen Thi Mai is able to provide a range of advanced techniques in her treatment.
