FV Hospital & ACC Clinic partner with Andros Lakes Race 2025 to promote Health and Kindness

June 11, 2025
The 7th season of the Andros Lakes Race was successfully held on the morning of June 1st at Ho Da area in Binh Duong, attracting over 2,500 runners and 500 orphans. FV Hospital and ACC Clinic provided on-site medical support, contributing to the event’s spirit of compassionate sportsmanship and underscoring their shared commitment to sustainable development through community healthcare. With race distances ranging from 600 metres to 25 kilometres, the Andros Lakes Race offered more than just a sporting challenge – it was a meaningful occasion to strengthen family bonds, share kindness, and promote a positive lifestyle. From as early as 4:30 AM, a skilled medical team from FV Hospital and ACC Clinic – part of the FV Group – was present on site to ensure the safety of all participants, with special care given to the 500 children from local orphanages.

Highly trained medical staff and support teams from FV Hospital and ACC were on-site early to assist runners throughout the event.

In addition to providing medical care, 25 FV staff members also took part in the race across various distances, demonstrating their commitment to public health and social responsibility. A standout feature of this year’s race was that each race registration helped sponsor a race kit, including shoes and socks, for a child, while also contributing to event logistics and donation funds for local orphanages.

FV staff actively joined the race to promote humanitarian values and reinforce their commitment to protecting community health.

The Andros Lakes Race is one of the few sporting events in Vietnam that places strong emphasis on sustainable development. From eco-friendly race gear to minimising plastic waste and promoting the message of “green running,” the event encourages a lifestyle in harmony with nature – an approach FV Hospital also embraces through various sustainability initiatives aligned with recommendations from the Joint Commission International (JCI).

The Andros Lakes Race stands out as one of the few “green” running events in Vietnam, distinguished by its strong commitment to sustainable development.

FV is actively implementing energy-saving initiatives, including upgrades to its Building Management System, the use of globally certified green medical equipment, and efforts to reduce emissions from diagnostic and anaesthesia machines. The hospital is also enhancing medical waste management and promoting sustainability awareness among staff. FV’s presence and support at the Andros Lakes Race 2025 once again highlight its mission that extends beyond hospital walls – toward holistic care for both people and the environment. Embracing the spirit of living healthy, living green, and living responsibly, FV Hospital remains committed to supporting community development and driving positive social change.
