FV Hospital is pleased to host one of its most significant annual events, Patient Safety Week 2025, taking place from 15 to 19 September. This year’s programme follows the global theme introduced by the World Health Organization (WHO): “Safe Care for Every Newborn and Every Child”, with the slogan: “Patient Safety from the Start!” According to WHO, newborns and children are among the most vulnerable groups in healthcare. International studies show that medical errors can occur in any care setting, with the highest risks in intensive care units. For this reason, the 2025 theme highlights the importance of strengthening safety in neonatal and paediatric care. This global campaign also supports WHO’s Sustainable Development Goal 3.2, which aims to end preventable deaths of children under five. It further calls on parents, caregivers, and communities to work together in creating safe care environments for children. To mark this important occasion, FV Hospital’s Quality & Risk Management Department has prepared a series of meaningful activities, including: 1. Poster Design Contest The theme of this year’s contest is “Child Safety – Everyone’s Responsibility”.
