Obstructive sleep apnoea is not simply disruptive snoring. Repeated airway blockages through the night cause drops in blood oxygen, poor sleep quality, daytime fatigue, and in severe cases, significant cardiovascular risk. At FV, we manage this through a structured pathway from diagnosis to treatment.

Diagnosis with Polysomnography A full overnight sleep study, available both in-hospital and as a portable home study, recording brain waves, blood oxygen, heart rate, breathing, and eye and leg movements. PSG provides the scientific basis for deciding between surgical and non-surgical treatment.

Surgical Treatment Following comprehensive evaluation, our surgeons perform procedures tailored to the site and degree of obstruction: soft palate procedures, tongue base reduction, radiofrequency turbinate reduction for nasal contributors to snoring, and hypoglossal nerve implant for selected obstructive sleep apnoea cases.
